Angkor Dreams - Early Photographs and Images

Ta Som Guesthouse & Tour Services proudly presents a collection of early photographs and images of Angkor.

When the site was "rediscovered" by the West in the 1870s, these visual documents contributed to the romantic idea

of a "lost city" in the jungle.

The video shows photographs and images by John Thomson, Emile Gsell, Louis Delaporte, Lucien Fournereau

and documents of the "exposition coloniale de Paris" in 1931.
