	The magnificent mountain temple of Preah Vihear is Cambodia's second UNESCO-World Heritage Site, inscribed just recently, in 2008. The way to Preah Vihear goes to some deep forests and then through the plain of the Dangrek Mountains. The location of the temple is unique. You will be seduced by the great views on the Cambodian plain and by the astonishing bas reliefs on temple gopurams. Some of the reliefs belong to the most beautiful artifacts of khmer art.
	Starting early from your Ta Som Guest House and heading north through tropical dry forest towards the Dangrek Mountains and the Thai border. You pass through authentic rural landscapes of Preah Vihear Province, where the main income of the locals consists of shifting cultivation.
	The arrival on the foot of the mountain temple is impressive, the temple overlooks the Cambodian plain. Visit of the different gopurams and carvings depicting scenes like the famous curling of the milk sea. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the temple over the Cambodian landscape. On the way to Preah Vihear or on your return to Siem Reap, we provide the opiton to visit Along Veng, depending on your personal interests. Return back to Siem Reap to your Ta Som Guesthouse.
